Prior to Dcode42, Meagan served as Chief Operating Officer of a mobile and cloud government products and services company helping to stand up and grow it by over 200% in its first two years. Prior to that she served as Chief Strategy Officer for an accomplished government IT small business, helping the company grow from $500K in revenue to over $12 million in two years, establishing it on Washington Technology’s Fast 50 as one of the fastest growing small businesses for three years in a row. Meagan has worked closely with senior leadership across DoD and civilian agencies, providing hands-on support for the execution of multi-million dollar IT programs ($1M – $70M+), with an expertise in IT acquisitions in the federal space.
Through this experience she understands the challenges and reasons behind why innovation does not make it to the government as quickly as it should. She founded Dcode42 with the mission of breaking down these barriers between private industry and government. In the past two years, Meagan and her team have helped more than ten start up technology companies enter into the government marketplace, spearheading their award of government Wide Contract Vehicles (GWACS) and enabling the realization of government revenue within the first six months for each.
In her spare time, she serves at the chair of a Career Advisory Board in the Athletic department at George Washington University, her alma mater, where she was a member and captain of the Division I gymnastics team. She also provides mentorship for startups through the DC Economic Council.
